Boasting 1.3 million residents, San Diego is California's second largest city and the eight largest city in the U.S. With a sunny climate and 70 miles of coastline, over 11 million people visited the city in 2009. But San Diego has much more to offer than sea and sand. A variety of attractions, especially for adults, are just waiting to be discovered.
The National Comedy Theater offers a great adult night out in San Diego. In a style similar to "Whose Line Is It Anyway", this improv show relies on the audience to pick the game, call the fouls and decide on a winner from the host of comedians. As of September, 2010, shows take place every Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m., with adult tickets costing $15 each with a $3 discount for students, seniors and military personnel. Aside from the shows, the National Comedy Theater hosts regular improv classes.
