Does the Death Valley have tornadoes?

Death Valley is located in the rain shadow of the Sierra Nevada mountains and receives very little rainfall. As a result, it is extremely dry and the air is very stable. Stable air does not produce tornadoes; therefore, Death Valley does not typically experience tornadoes.
