Height of the Forbidden City's Highest Building

The Forbidden City in Beijing is a low-rise palace complex. Its tallest structure, the Hall of Supreme Harmony (Taihe Dian), reaches 37.2 meters (122 feet) atop its marble terrace. Traditional Chinese architecture emphasized horizontal spread and symbolic hierarchy over vertical height.
