Wanderlust World Wanderlust World San Bernardo Mixtepec is a town and municipality in the state of Oaxaca, southern Mexico. It lies in the Sierra Norte mountains, ~65 km (40 mi) north of Oaxaca City, in the Villa Alta district. Population ~10,000. Known for traditional Zapotec culture, a 16th-century church, the Museum of Zapotec Culture, and proximity to the ancient Mitla ruins. A cultural and ecotourism destination.
