What percent of people speak German in Romania?

There is no significant German-speaking population or region in Romania. German was spoken by approximately 7.9% of the population in the 1930s, mainly in Transylvania, but after World War II, most German-speaking people left the country. Today, German is not widely spoken in Romania.
