Located near the town of Ejer Bavnehøj in the east of Jutland, Møllehøj was previously known as Ejer Bavnehøj, retaining the name of another nearby location. The prominence (i.e., elevation relative to the surrounding landscape) of Møllehøj is only 74 meters (243 feet).
