Are there any lakes or rivers in Slovakia?

Slovakia is a landlocked country located in Central Europe and does not have a coastline. Therefore, it does not have any seas or oceans within its borders. However, Slovakia does have several rivers and lakes. Three major rivers flow through Slovakia: the Danube, the Váh, and the Hron. Additionally, there are over 1,400 lakes in Slovakia, with the largest and most well-known being the Štrbské Pleso Lake in the High Tatras mountain range.
