Why was revisionist socialism more powerful in western Europe than eastern Europe?

Revisionist socialism was not more powerful in Western Europe than Eastern Europe. In fact, it was the opposite. Revisionist socialism was more popular in Eastern Europe, particularly in the Russian Empire, where it was associated with the Menshevik faction of the Russian Social Democratic Labour Party (RSDLP). Revisionists argued that the working class was not yet ready for a socialist revolution and that socialism should be achieved gradually through reforms within the existing capitalist system. This view was opposed by the Bolsheviks, who believed that the working class was capable of overthrowing capitalism and establishing socialism through a revolutionary seizure of power. The Bolsheviks eventually won out, and revisionist socialism was marginalized in Russia.
