The Corinth Canal is a canal that cuts through the Isthmus of Corinth in Greece, connecting the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. It separates the Peloponnese from the rest of Greece. The Aegean islands are in the Aegean Sea, but they are not separated from the rest of Greece by the Corinth Canal.
