The Luna Club is a great place to find a unique music selection as well as very talented DJs who play many different musical styles, ranging from house to techno to reggae to electronic. This popular club, located in the Bergstraße, charges a minimal cover fee, but you may want to call ahead to check because occasionally there are nationally recognized DJs performing, and the cover then could be substantially higher.

MAX Disco Kiel Discothek is less than two miles away from the city center, and you can take a little walk to get there. It is in the Eckernfoerder Strasse on the corner of the Eichhofstrasse. It is a modern night club with a big dance floor. Often the club hosts special events on the weekends and sometimes offers free admission. Students don't have to pay the full price, but you have to take your student ID with you. Additionally, the club offers a birthday special for the celebrant and one guest that includes free admission and a free drink. Other birthday specials are for larger groups of up to 20 people and include special fees.
