The night club scene in Cairo is sparse with long waits to get into the most exclusive night spots. Latex, located underneath the Nile Hilton, is no exception. The walls are covered in broad swathes of white plastic emphasizing a chic, otherworldly feel in one the oldest cities in the world. Music at Latex is predominantly house-styled with DJs brought in locally and internationally. There is a standing "no single men" policy at the club so gentlemen are encouraged to be well dressed and have a member of the fairer sex accompanying them or admittance to Latex will be denied.

The Club features a variety of DJ's and live bands during the weekends, but surprisingly Jazz music relegated to only Sunday. Guests may also enjoy a small food menu highlighted by finger foods like mini corn dogs and stuffed mushroom caps, but are encouraged to order earlier in the evening as the club fills up by 10 p.m.

After Eight is a night club or "night pub" as it advertises, located in downtown Cairo featuring live music and cocktails every night of the week. There are a few rules at this particular club, however that guests should take into account before paying the establishment a visit. After Eight has limited space, and requires a reservation in order to be admitted to the club. In addition, per the law in the city of Cairo, no one under the age of 25 is admitted after 8 o'clock (hence the name) in the evening, and per house rules only couples are permitted entrance to After Eight.
