JJ's Club House is the Gateway's largest and oldest bear and leather bar. JJ's is open daily from 3 p.m. until 3 a.m. The bar is home to several area clubs for gay men, including the Show Me Bears, the Gateway Motorcycle Club and the Blue Max Motorcycle Club. Patrons can enjoy free pool every Sunday and Monday. The club offers darts for patrons interested in playing games, with Tuesdays and Thursdays dedicated to the game. Fridays and Saturdays are club nights; the rest of the week, the club is simply a bar with a theme night.

Rue 13 is a combined sushi bar and club that prides itself on ambiance and service conducive to mingling. On Tuesdays, the club offers specials on well drinks and Pabst Blue Ribbon. On Wednesdays it has Miller High Life for $1 a bottle, as of 2010.
