Bypass is a club that looks and feels very European, from the Second Empire-style sofas to the glitter-spangled columns to the padded walls behind the bar. The lighting is brighter than many clubs, but it's done with a flattering yellow glow instead of harsh strobes or black light. The VIP area is more for lounging than dancing, but you can get your groove on to house, dance and trance music on the main floor. Guest musicians have included DJ David Morales, Martin Solveig and Ocean Drive featuring DJ Oriska. The club hosts frequent fashion shows and tributes to celebrity personalities including Michael Jackson and Christian Audigier. The club is open Tuesday through Saturday.

If you're looking for a sleek, Vegas-style club, head for White'n Silver. The club looks like a futuristic winter wonderland, with everything decorated in the titular colors of white and silver. Lounge in low-slung modernist sofas or take a twirl on the dance floor beneath multi-colored strobe lights. Before you visit, check the club's website for special events. White'n Silver Night, for example, requires you to come dressed in the club's signature colors. Exotic Latin beats thump from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. at Geneva's Monte Cristo Club.
