Mad Frog in Cincinnati is "your live music headquarters." Genres of music featured at Mad Frog include salsa every Sunday as well as jazz, hip-hop and rock. The Blue Wisp Jazz Club in Cincinnati offers world class jazz to the Queen City. Monday nights are jam nights, with patrons encouraged to bring their horns and axes down for a session. Bass and drums are provided by the club. The rest of the week the club offers live jazz music from local as well as touring acts. Cover charges generally run between $5 and $10 a night as of 2010. Ohio's state capitol Columbus is home to Funny Bone Comedy Club. The comedy club hosts nationally famous comedians such as D.L. Hughley, as well as local Ohio favorites. Local comedians who have yet to make their name are encouraged to come down on Tuesdays and make the audience laugh. Amateurs on Tuesday must be 18 years of age and bring five or more friends to watch them perform. Amateur nights begin at 7:30 p.m. and there is a $5 cover charge.
