Why eurasia was separated?
The separation of Eurasia into Asia and Europe was caused by the formation of the Ural Mountains, which began around 300 million years ago. The Ural Mountains are a north-south mountain range that runs through western Russia and separates Europe and Asia. The formation of the Ural Mountains was a result of the collision of two tectonic plates, the Eurasian Plate and the Siberian Plate. The collision caused the formation of a long, narrow mountain range and also created a deep rift between the two plates. This rift eventually became the boundary between Asia and Europe.
