The Royal Danish Theatre
- With opera, ballet, plays and concerts, the Royal Danish Theatre is world-renowned for its beautiful setting and the talent it presents. A performance --usually a concert--is typically planned for New Year's Eve. Harbour Restaurant
- Many restaurants remain open on New Year's Eve, including Harbour. A relatively new construction (built in 2006), you'll dine while looking out over Copenhagen's waterfront. Amelienborg
- To enjoy a more popular tradition with your significant other, join the thousands of others in the lawn of Amelienborg, the winter residence of the monarch of Denmark. It is the Danish equivalent of Times Square in New York--you'll bring in the new year with a boisterous crowd and fireworks.
