Bilbao offers visitors ancient buildings and modern art all in one city.     • Bilbao Turismo offers two guided walking tours of Bilbao. The Old Quarter Tour takes visitors through the medieval section of the city. Sites include Saint James Gothic Cathedral, San Anton Church and its ancient ruins and Plaza Nueva. Tours are available all year on Saturday and Sunday. Tours depart the Turismo office located at the Arriaga Theater at 10 a.m. The Abandoibarra Tour explores Bilbao's modern side. The tour focuses on urban planning and architecture from the 19th century to today. Tours depart from the Turismo office located next to the Guggenheim Museum on Saturday and Sunday at 12 p.m all year. Bilbao Turismo does not require advance reservations for groups under 15 people. Students, children and senior citizens receive discounted admission.
