Tourism In Friedrichshafen

Friedrichshafen is located on the southern border of Germany, just across Lake Constance from Switzerland. The town is a picturesque sight with an old church, beaches, fishing boats, museums and old-fashioned German cafes. Perhaps the most popular attraction is the Zeppelin Museum, as the Zeppelin was invented in this very town. It's not all pleasantries when it comes to visiting Friedrickshafen; a subcamp of Dachau concentration camp was located here that housed Jewish and other prisoners during World War II.
