When visiting Copenhagen, Denmark, you may see monuments of historical, memorial or biblical significance that memorialize various Denmark citizens or events.     • The statue of King Erik 1st "The Good" was created by Joseph Salamon and erected in 1995. King Erik "The Good" ruled Denmark from 1095 to 1103, and was known for making peace with the Wends, an enemy of Denmark.

    Danske Krigergrave

    • Located in Helsingoer Cemetery in Copenhagan's Helsingør area, the Danske Krigergrave commemorates the deaths of 17 soldiers who died in the 1864 war. The statue, which has been deemed a historic monument, was built in 1865.

    Hamlet's Grave

    • Commemorating Shakespeare's play Hamlet, Hamlet's Grave is a stone monument located in Helsingor's Kronborg Castle, where the play takes place. The stone sculpture was erected in 1926 and designed by E. Utzon Frank.

    Garden of Eden Statue

    Franske Krigergrave

    Holger Danske Statue
