If you want to sample the joys of nude sunbathing and swimming during your next visit to Germany, you have two solid options. Follow these steps to find them.
Visit Lake Chiemsee, between Salzburg, Austria, and Munich, Germany. Drive along the Autobahn A8 out of Munich toward Salzburg, and then turn at the Ubersee/Feldwies exit. Continue left over the highway for a mile. Turn left at the Camping and FKK Roedlgries sign. Keep your eyes open. Turn left again when you see a gravel trail paralleling A8. Follow the FKK signs to a parking area.
Make your way to Sylt, a small island in the northern Germany on the North Sea. This is a center for naturists where visitors can enjoy nude sunbathing, hiking, bicycling and nature watching. Every beach on the island is clothing optional. You can reach the island by train from Hindeburgdamm or Niebuell.
