Filaki Beach is this locale's official nude beach. You can remain naked here from the time you leave your car. The beach is off a road near the Hotel Vritomartis on the southern coast of Crete.
Visit Red Beach. Most sunbathers frequent the northern end of the beach, Red Beach is only a 25-minute walk from Matala. To reach the beach, follow the trail up a hill until you reach a fence near the top. Climb over and walk down to the beach.
Gavdos Island in the Libyan Sea allows nude sunbathing. You'll find the island opposite Sfakia, 23 miles from Loutro. It is a "mixed" beach, but the majority of visitors are nudists.
Chania, a port located in western Crete, also features a popular nude beach.
