When was Stonehenge buit?

The earliest structures at Stonehenge were built about 3020 BC. The unique trilithon structure was added in the third stage, around 2500 BC, and the site seems to have been completed during the Bronze Age, by about 1600 BC. The modern reconstruction places megaliths back in the places where they were found fallen. Archaeologists believe the site was used as a ceremonial burial site.
