Where is the Mediterranean Sea?

The Mediterranean Sea is located between Europe, Asia and Africa. It is an enclosed sea connected to the Atlantic Ocean by the Strait of Gibraltar. The Mediterranean Sea has a surface area of 2.5 million square kilometers (965,000 square miles) and a maximum depth of 5,267 meters (17,280 feet).
