How to Travel From Granada to Madrid

Madrid, at 6,800 feet, is located just south of Sierra de Guadarrama mountains. With a population of five million, this ancient city is home to a plethora of museums, galleries and historic places of interest. The modern city originated in the 9th century, when Muhammad ordered the construction of a small palace. Today, the Palacio Real, formerly the home of the Spanish royal family, sits at that location. The magnificent scenery and warm climate draw thousands of visitors to the area each year.
