Was Spain part of the axis?

Spain was not part of the Axis during World War II. Although Francisco Franco's regime was sympathetic to the Axis, Spain officially maintained a neutral stance throughout the war. While Spain provided some assistance to the Axis, it did not actively participate in military operations against the Allies.
