How do you fold the Irish flag?

Step 1: Lay the flag flat

Place the Irish flag on a flat surface, such as a table or the ground. Make sure the flag is spread out evenly and that there are no wrinkles or folds in the material.

Step 2: Fold the flag into vertical halves

Fold the left side of the flag over to the right, so that the edges of the flag meet. Press down on the fold to make sure it is crease-free.

Step 3: Fold the flag in half horizontally

Hold the flag in your hands and fold the top half down over the bottom half. Make sure the folds are even and that there are no gaps or overlaps.

Step 4: Tuck an edge of the flag into the other side of the flag

Hold the folded flag in your hands with the open edges facing up. Take the left edge of the flag and tuck it into the right side of the flag, about halfway down.

Step 5: Repeat Step 4 on the opposite side of the flag

Take the right edge of the flag and tuck it into the left side, matching the other side. This should create a neat, folded triangle with the green side up.

Step 6: Display the folded flag

The folded Irish flag can now be displayed on a flagpole, draped over a coffin, or stored away for future use.
