How many pubs per person in Ireland?

Ireland has approximately 7,000 pubs, according to the latest figures from the Irish Pubs Global website. With a population of approximately 4.9 million people, this means that there is approximately one pub per 700 people in Ireland. However, it is important to note that this figure is an average and that the distribution of pubs is not evenly spread across the country. For example, there are more pubs in Dublin than in rural areas.
