Does The Republic of Ireland have lowlands?

The Republic of Ireland does indeed have Lowlands, one of which is also termed as the 'Midlands Lowlands' for being found within the core Irish Midlands: a geographical region consisting of counties Longford, Offaly, Laois, and Westmeath, which also are collectively termed the 'Irish Midlands.' While Ireland is characterized for mostly having hilly terrains and coastal lowlands that fringe Ireland in all directions as opposed to low-lying landmasses, the Irish Midlands offers the closest geographical equivalent.
