When did Spanish Armada in Ireland happen?

There are two possible dates you are referring to:

1. August 1588: The Spanish Armada, a large fleet of ships sent by the Spanish king Philip II to invade England, was defeated by the English navy in the English Channel. However, some of the Spanish ships were scattered by storms and ended up on the west coast of Ireland. Some of the survivors were killed by the Irish, and others were taken prisoner.

2. September 1601: A second Spanish force landed in Ireland at Kinsale in an attempt to support the Irish rebellion against English rule. The Spanish were besieged by English forces and eventually surrendered in January 1602.
