Located 10 minutes' drive from Westport, the Olde School House is, as its name suggests, a converted schoolhouse. The owners live next door in a converted church. The two-bedroom cottage has its own private entrance and access to a mature garden area where guests can help themselves to freshly-grown vegetables and free-range eggs. The cottage may be a historic building, but its facilities are entirely modern, and guests can make use of a washing machine, drier and microwave. The cottage even boasts an appearance in "Return to the River," a German feature film based on a Rosamund Pilcher novel.
