What are Irelands special forces?

Ireland does not have any specialised special forces. However, the Irish Army Ranger Wing (ARW) is an elite, highly-trained unit considered equal in standard and function to many special forces units worldwide. Their primary role is reconnaissance, surveillance, and specialist support operations at home and abroad.
