Restrictions on Items Entering Spain

Spain prohibits or restricts the following imports:

• Controlled drugs/psychotropic substances without health ministry authorization (including cannabis derivatives except medical).
• Live animals (except pets/assistance dogs with microchip and health certificate).
• Explosives, flammable substances, ammunition, fireworks.
• Weapons and replica/imitation weapons.
• Counterfeit/pirated goods (clothing, DVDs, etc.).
• Plants, fruits, vegetables unless from registered supplier with phytosanitary treatment.
• Wildlife/endangered species covered by CITES.
