Why do mexicans steal?

Mexicans do not steal more frequently than any other national or ethnic group. Theft and other offenses are societal issues influenced by factors like socio-economic circumstances and opportunities but not specific to a particular nationality or ethnicity. Attributing theft behavior to an entire cultural group is stereotyping, which is detrimental to the accurate comprehension of social issues and the creation of just solutions.
