Did the US help Mexico If so how did they cause?

The United States did help support the Mexican government in overthrowing the emperor and eventually restoring president Benito Juarez. The US aided Mexico with supplies and money as well as diplomatic and political support. The United States also sent a naval fleet to the port of Veracruz to protect the Mexican government.
