Red in the Spanish Flag: Two-Thirds of the Design

The Spanish flag consists of three equal horizontal bands: red (top), yellow (middle), red (bottom). Therefore, red occupies two-thirds (≈66.7%) of the flag's area. The yellow band features the Spanish coat of arms off-center toward the hoist.
