How to Apply for an Austrian Visa

Austria offers visitors the ability to apply for a Schengen visa for leisure, tourism and business travel through the country. American citizens who will be traveling to Austria as tourists for three months or less are not required to obtain an Austrian visa. The steps for obtaining an Austrian visa for citizens of countries other than the United States will vary. You must contact the Austrian Embassy or Consulate in your country for information on Austrian visa applications.
