Is Benito Juarez a bad neighborhood?

Benito Juárez is a wealthy, upper-class neighborhood located in the Federal District in Mexico City. It is an exclusive neighborhood known for its luxury shopping and the many art galleries. The crime rate in Benito Juárez is very low when compared with the rest of Mexico City. This has led to some to describe the Benito Juárez neighborhood as having the "lowest crime rate of anywhere in Mexico City". In fact, there have been virtually no cases of gun crimes there.
