What is a LEDC Mexico?

A LEDC (less economically developed country) is a country that has a low level of economic development as measured by various factors such as gross domestic product (GDP), per capita income, literacy rate, and life expectancy.

Mexico is considered an upper-middle-income country and is not currently classified as a LEDC, although significant socioeconomic disparities exist within the country, with some regions and population groups facing more challenges in terms of economic development and social progress.
