What is the time difference between Texas and Mexico?

Texas is in the Central Time Zone (CT) and shares a border with 2 Mexican border states: Chihuahua and Coahuila.

There is no time zone difference between Chihuahua and Texas for most of the year. However, during Daylight Saving Time (DST), which is observed in Texas from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November, Chihuahua does not observe DST, so during that time, Texas is one hour ahead of Chihuahua.

Most areas of Coahuila also do not observe DST. However, some parts of Coahuila, including the city of Ciudad Acuña, do observe DST. In those parts of Coahuila, there is no time difference with Texas for most of the year, including during Daylight Saving Time.
