What was the outcome of k10 Mexican revelation led by Miguel hidalgo?

The outcome of the Mexican War of Independence (1810-1821)

- After Hidalgo's initial victories, royalist forces regrouped and began winning victories of their own. Despite being a charismatic leader and able strategist, Hidalgo struggled to maintain the rebels' discipline and loyalty due to internal conflicts within the rebel leadership. These factors contributed to numerous military losses in his campaign's latter stages.

- Following a series of defeats, Hidalgo and other insurgent leaders were captured and executed in July 1811. Hidalgo's defeat led to other insurgent armies taking centre stage in the movement's subsequent developments.

- Although Hidalgo's campaign did not entirely defeat Spanish rule it laid the foundation for his more successful successors like Ignacio Allende, José María Morelos, Vicente Guerrero, etc to continue, leading Mexico to full independence in 1821. He remains celebrated as a national hero for initiating Mexico's fight for independence.
