How many Mexicans and Texans fought in the Alamo?

The Battle of the Alamo was fought between a small group of Texan rebels and a much larger Mexican army. The exact number of participants is unknown, but it is estimated that between 182 and 250 Texans fought in the battle, while the Mexican army had between 1,500 and 6,000 soldiers.
