Which part of New York did the Giants come from?
The New York Giants originated in New York City, specifically the borough of Manhattan, in 1925. The team was formed by businessman Tim Mara and originally known as the New York Football Giants. They played their first few seasons at the Polo Grounds in Upper Manhattan before eventually relocating to the New Jersey Meadowlands in 1976, where they remain today. The Giants have been a mainstay of the National Football League (NFL) and are widely regarded as one of the most successful and storied franchises in American football.
