Where is the ganges river delta?
The Ganges River delta is located in Bangladesh and West Bengal, India. It is the world's largest delta, covering an area of 105,000 square kilometers (41,000 square miles). The delta is formed by the confluence of the Ganges, Brahmaputra, and Meghna rivers. It is a very fertile region and is home to a large population. The delta is also home to a number of important archaeological sites, including the ruins of the ancient city of Mohenjo-Daro.
