Are there any nomads in the Sonoran Desert?
There are no known nomadic human populations currently inhabiting the Sonoran Desert. Historically, several Indigenous groups, such as the Tohono O'odham, Pima, and Seri people, were semi-nomadic and moved within the larger region that includes the Sonoran Desert for hunting, gathering, and trading purposes. However, these groups generally had defined territories and did not engage in long-distance migrations.
