Mexican Cities and the Colorado River

There is no major Mexican city located close to the Colorado River. The river flows primarily through the U.S. states of Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, and California, with only a small portion reaching the northwestern corner of Mexico near the Gulf of California. Consequently, Mexican urban centers are not situated near its course.
