Beaches Near Iberostar in Cozumel

The Iberostar is an all-inclusive outdoor hotel catering to couples. Guests stay in bungalows with private patios and hammocks. The resort features 300 rooms and six suites. As an all-inclusive resort, all meals, drinks and sports are included with the room rate and do not incur an additional charge. The resort has a swimming pool on site and is a short walking distance from a few beaches.
  1. Playa San Francisco

    • Playa San Francisco was the first beach to open to tourists on the island of Cozumel in 1970. A water sports shop on the beach rents equipment for parasailing, windsurfing and banana boat rides. A bar is located on the beach, serving daiquiris and a signature Coco Locos drink served in a coconut shell. Activities available include diving, jet skiing, kayaking and volleyball. The beach has lounge chairs, hammocks, restrooms, showers and is handicap accessible.

    Paradise Beach

    • Paradise Beach is one of the island's newest beaches. There is no admission to access the beach, which features reclining lounge chairs and umbrellas. Activities available include jet skiing, parasailing, kayaking and a water trampoline. Adults can receive a massage at the beach or grab a drink at the bar. Restrooms and showers are also available.

    Nachi-Cocom

    • This beach was named after a Mayan warrior who resisted the Spanish conquest. This beach is lined with palm trees and is located within Marine Park. After the beach club was damaged by a hurricane in 2005, it reopened in 2007. The beach club features a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, play areas for small children, bathrooms and showers. For lounging, the beach has hammocks and lounge chairs. Activities available include snorkeling, kayaking, parasailing and boating.
