Does Vermont Have a President? Understanding State Leadership

There is no president of Vermont. Vermont is a state within the United States, and like all U.S. states, it is led by a governor, not a president. As of now, the governor of Vermont is Phil Scott. The state's executive branch is headed by the governor, while the federal government has the President of the United States.
