Do Papua New Guinean people mainly speak English?

Papua New Guinea is a multilingual country with over 800 languages spoken. Although English is the official language, only a small percentage of the population actually speak it. Tok Pisin, a creole language, is the most widely spoken language in the country, followed by Hiri Motu, another creole language, and local indigenous languages.
