The historic Z Bar–Spring Hill Ranch (also known as the Z Bar Ranch or Spring Hill Ranch) is located near Cimarron, Kansas, in Gray County — not Strong City (which is in Chase County, ~100 miles northeast). The ranch is associated with the Cimarron National Grassland and the Santa Fe Trail history. Strong City is known for the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve.
