Chipmunk Habitats: Beyond North America

Chipmunks are not exclusive to North America. While the Eastern Chipmunk (Tamias striatus) is common there, other species inhabit Asia and Europe, including the Siberian Chipmunk (Tamias sibiricus), Japanese Chipmunk (Tamias japonicus), and Asian Striped Chipmunk.
